O EMA 2010 será realizado no dia 7 de Novembro de 2010 na Caja Magica de Madrid e será transmitido em directo no canal MTV a partir das 21 horas. O evento será visto em 214 milhões de lares em mais de 40 territórios.
Esta oportunidade de patrocínio ao EMA da MTV oferece à Suzuki, o 10º construtor automóvel a nível mundial, uma campanha de marketing pan-europeia única e totalmente integrada.
Esta parceria terá uma permanente integração em todas as plataformas da MTV. A Suzuki irá estar presente em todas as actividades de promoção que irão até à cerimónia da entrega dos prémios, nos materiais de comunicação, informações específicos para a imprensa, no micro site do MTV EMA (www.mtvema.com) bem como em toda a actividade que será desenvolvida em Madrid, cidade que vai receber os EMA 2010.

O EMA 2009 realizou-se em Berlim e teve como anfitriã a cantora Kate Perry. Beyoncé foi a maior vencedora levando para casa um total de três troféus EMA – Melhor Cantora, Melhor Canção e Melhor Vídeo. Outros vencedores incluíram Eminem (Melhor Cantor) enquanto Jay-Z venceu a categoria “Melhor Urbano”. Os U2 realizaram um desempenho icónico na porta de Bradenburg e conquistaram, merecidamente, o prémio de “Melhor actuação ao Vivo”. A poderosa Lady Gaga foi honrada com a atribuição do prémio “Melhor Actuação” enquanto os Green Day venceram o galardão para “Melhor Grupo Rock”.
Desde a sua realização a partir de 1994, o EMA estabeleceu a reputação de um dos melhores espectáculos de atribuição de prémios do mundo. Multi-plataformas como opção de visualização combinadas com desempenhos de cortar a respiração por estrelas maiores do firmamento da música criam uma atmosfera electrizante onde tudo pode acontecer.
